Abstract

The article examines the ethnocultural nature of ornithonymic proverbs formed in the language as a national identity and mentality, worldview and life of an ethnic group in the linguistic aspect. Ornithonymic proverbs provide valuable linguistic and cognitive information about the past life of an ethnic group, national culture and worldview, spiritual and material closeness of humans and the avian world. Some of the proverbs and sayings in the Kazakh language consist of paremias about birds, about the world of birds. Birds in the everyday culture of an ethnic group live in close spiritual and material interaction with representatives of ethnic groups. The connection between birds and people is clearly traced in ornithonymic proverbs in the language of ethnic groups. The article considers the worldview, culture, history, traditions, religious understanding, a view of the ethnic group to the world of birds in the ornithonymic proverbs in the linguistic aspect. Ornithonymic proverbs in the language are studied from a scientific-theoretical and practical point of view as an ethnocultural manifestation of the historical, cultural, spiritual, social characteristics of an ethnic
group in society.
