INSTRUCTION FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES

The Bulletin of Karaganda University. Philology Series publishes articles in Kazakh, Russian, and English, with a volume of 5 to 10 pages.

The article must be prepared in Word format, using consistent styling a single style. The manuscript margins should be as follows: top and bottom - 25 mm, left and right - 20 mm; font - Times New Roman, size - 11 pt; line spacing - single; alignment - justified; paragraph indent - 0.8 cm.

The structure of the article must include the following sections: Introduction (including the problem statement and the history of the issue), Research Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.

The article must be accompanied by an abstract (in Kazakh, Russian, and English) (300-350 words per abstract). The abstract should be an independent summary of the article. It should briefly disclose the relevance of the problem, the methods used, and the results obtained. The quality of the abstract should allow for preliminary evaluation and classification of the article. It should not merely describe the phenomenon being studied but highlight the author's contribution to solving the problem. It is recommended to use the following phrases: "This article addresses the problems...," "The characteristic features... are analyzed," "The need... is identified and justified...," "Based on the research, the author suggests...," "The following are formulated...," "It is proven...," "It is shown...," "It is revealed...," etc.

The article must be preceded by keywords in Kazakh, Russian, and English (5 words in each language).

All abbreviations and acronyms, except for well-known ones, must be spelled out upon first use in the text.

Figures and tables must have a title. For figures, the title is placed below the figure; for tables, the title is placed above the table. The text should first refer to the figure or table, followed by the figure or table.

If there is a source of funding for the research (grants, state budget programs), information about it must be provided.

"References" in English must be formatted according to the international bibliographic standard APA (http://www.bibme.org/citation-guide/APA/book). If there is a source not in English, two lists of references should be provided: the first in the original language (Kazakh, Russian, or other non-English languages) and formatted according to GOST 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic Record. Bibliographic Description. General Requirements and Compilation Rules," located after the article. The second list should be formatted according to the APA standard, with transliteration, and located at the end of the document, before the information about the authors. Transliteration can be done using the site https://translit.net/.

Samples of reference formatting are attached in the the style file.

The first reference in the text should be numbered [1], the second [2], [3-5], etc. When citing a result from a book, the number of the source in the reference list and the page number (separated by a semicolon) should be indicated. For example: [8; 325]. References to unpublished works, the results of which are used in the evidence, are not allowed.

Information about each author should be provided in English and include the following:

  - Full name (last name, first name, middle name)

  - Academic title

  - Academic degree

  - Position

  - Place of work

  - City
