The technique of pragmalinguistics competence formation of Chinese students

The article defines the role of the formation of pragmalinguistics competence in the competence approach of teaching. We focused on teaching the norms of speech etiquette and rules of using etiquette-speech formulas depending on situation of communication. This aspect is important in forming the pragmalinguistics competence, as to be communicant – it’s necessary to own the speech etiquette. the relevance of our research is dictated by real speech situation, which we analyzed on the assumption of results of the questioning we conducted between Chinese students. The questioning results showed that phrases students use are the same and not
always suit to the situation of communication. Developing the principles of the technique of pragmalinguistics competence we offer to consider pragmalinguistics text, reproduction of language situations based on role principle, and also series of interactive methods (brain storm, debate, discussions, role games, round table, case-study) as main principles of work. In this article we tried to discover the importance of teaching speech etiquette in forming the pragmalinguistics competence and develop the technique of work in this direction.
