Approaches to the study of cultural concepts in the context of updated content of education

Abstract

In the article the cultural concept as an educational object of learning Russian language as a native language is considered. The place and role of cultural concepts in the process of learning Russian language are analyzed, the methods and techniques of working with cultural concepts in the context of the updated content of school education in Kazakhstan are presented. The linguistic and conceptual approach assists to the understanding of the national picture of the world of the language being studied, effective student speech development. Considering the national mentality of the people and the pedagogical goals of training and education, this approach provides to strengthen, systematize and define the cultural meanings included in the content of the subject «Russian language». Also it helps students to learn the values which embodied in cultural concepts, makes it possible to form the spiritual and moral personality of the student through the word.
