Abstract

The article describes the experience of distance teaching of the elective discipline «Culture of Business Communication» to students of Satbayev University. It is shown what opportunities of the university educational platform provided teachers and students with workspace and interaction «at a distance». It is emphasized that in the new conditions, in addition to technical equipment, it is important to have adapted methodological support. Based on the gained experience the authors of the article analyze how the rules of work have changed the nature of the presenting educational material and the control of educational achievements. Particular attention is paid to the problems faced by the participants in distance learning, and the skills that ensure their successful interaction are listed. In general, positively assessing the practice of teaching in a distance mode, the authors propose to improve the existing approaches and revise some of the principles of organizing educational work.
