The article is devoted to the complex study of personality development in the education system, primarily through the formation of universal educational actions, which are the invariant basis of the educational process. The relevance and significance of this study are due to the modern requirements for the formation of the child's personality and socialization.The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and test a set of tasks and exercises aimed at the formation of metasubject educational actions of younger students in the process of mastering semantic reading in the lessons of the Russian language and literary reading.
