Structure of the genre of modern anti-utopia

Abstract

In the article, the task is to consider a complex of genre-forming features of anti-utopia on a wide range of works from the moment of genre design to the present. The author poses the problem of finding the most complete list of constitutive and facultative genre features, arising from the difficulties that arise in the path of the researcher, in view of the fact that modern anti-utopias are difficult to fit into the narrow framework of existing classifications. The advantage of this study is the creation of a working scheme, which makes it possible to classify texts according to a number of constitutive and facultative features, revealing the specific originality of any anti-utopian work.
