Conjunctions belong to a group of words that occupy a place among auxiliary words in the language. Although conjunctions do not have a certain independent lexical meaning, they have a certain grammatical meaning in a sentence and link words, phrases and sentences together. Thus, by maintaining the semantic connection between the word and the sentence, they contribute to the systematic transmission, while maintaining the coherence of pronunciation. Therefore, connective conjunctions are grammatical words that connect several words, phrases, and sentences in a sentence to each other, creating connections between them at different levels. From this point of view, conjunctions enhance the communicative ability of the syntax of Turkic languages. Thoughts that cannot be expressed in one word or one sentence are complicated and systematized by conjunctions, becoming an aesthetically unified narrative. In the article, the connective conjunctions are determined on the basis of grammatical books and literary texts published in Kazakh and Turkish, their structure, semantic group and functions are determined. It tells about the similarities and differences of the connective conjunctions in the Kazakh and Turkish languages. In this context, the classification of the structure and function of conjunctions in the Kazakh and Turkish languages is considered in detail. Thus, we believe that this work will contribute to the study of conjunctions in the Kazakh and Turkish languages.
