Abstract

The functional study of the syntax of the Kazakh language has not yet been formed. The syntactic relation that requires such research is connective relations. New results can be achieved when considering connective relations based on the direction of functional grammar “from meaning to form”. As a result, the paradigms of connective relations in syntax can be seen at four levels: simple sentence, complex sentence, complex syntactic integrity, text. Without a doubt, the main indicator of the connective relation is the homogeneous members of the sentence. Although homogeneous sentence terms are not poorly studied in Kazakh linguistics, it can be noted that there are issues that are not taken into account. One of these linguistic units is connecting mem-
bers. The article emphasizes the difference between the connecting term and the homogeneous terms of the sentence. The composition of the connecting members is analyzed. Functionally, uniformity is not limited to homogeneous compound and compound sentences. Compound sentences with separative conjunctions with precedence values and alternatives can also be considered within the framework of connective relations. The forms that connect these sentences also connect homogeneous members of the sentence. Thus, the article de- scribes connective relations in a sentence in a new way.
