Toponym-logoepistems in the Kazakh language

The article is devoted to the study of modern speech space units, toponym-logoepistems, at the intersection of language and culture. By considering such units in language, we notice that toponym-logoepistems are the main indicators of the worldview of the people, the nation. Therefore, geographical names are sometimes not directly related to the geographical object. In other words, like any word, the meaning of a geographical name is explained not according to the object it represents but to the image in our minds. Thus, the relationship between a geographical name and the object is complex and two-sided. It means that a person stands between
a geographical name and a geographical object. For this reason, there is a need to study toponyms in the cognitive-pragmatic aspect, which considers the relationship between speech and thought of linguistic and non-linguistic consciousness, which has a pragmatic basis, from the point of view of human conscious thinking. Relying on the cognitive-pragmatic aspect of language allows for synchronous study, that allows one to consider toponyms in a situational context. Through this, we get information about how a particular language collective perceives a geographical name now and how they function and are fixed in the consciousness of the individual, processed. Each name is a symbol of the cult history. Therefore, the study of toponyms, which are considered to be such a national and spiritual wealth, is a requirement of time, a request of time.
