Features of the translation of Japanese phraseological units used with the somatism “eye” into the Kazakh language, by the method of phraseological equivalent

The article considers the translation of Japanese phraseological units used with somatism “eye” into the Kazakh language by the method of equivalence. For this purpose, initially, based on lexicographic literature, the most frequently used Japanese phraseological units used with the lexeme “eye” were collected. Then their full and partial equivalents in the Kazakh language were identified, which correspond to the phraseological units of the Japanese language on such indicators as semantics, lexical composition, grammatical structure, style, and imagery. As a result, authors summarized the features of the translation of phraseological units used with somatism “eye” into the Kazakh language by equivalence; similarities and differences of linguistic and extra-linguistic characteristics of somatic phraseology of the two languages.
