The Genesis of Ornithological Images in Kazakh Poetry

This article deals with the genesis of ornithological images in Kazakh poetry. Starting from the mythological roots of the image of birds, its connection with the nomadic lifestyle of the Kazakh people and the national worldview has been thoroughly studied. The study analyzed the symbolic and semantic features of ornithological images in the works of Mukaghali Makataev, Makhambet Utemisuly, Tumanbai Moldagaliyev and Yesengali Raushanov. The main goal is to reveal the spiritual and philosophical significance of birds in Kazakh literature and to define their role in national culture. During the research, semantic, comparative-historical, literary and symbolic analysis methods were used. As a result, the artistic, philosophical and cultural function of ornithological images in Kazakh poetry was determined, and their deep symbolic meaning in the national worldview was revealed. The article contributes to the systematic interpretation of the evolution of the image of birds in national literature.
