The problem of hybrid terms in the process of term formation

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider and characterize the linguistic features of hybrid terms in the term-formation process of the modern Kazakh language and analyze the features of their occurrence, word-formation composition. The article also analyzes the principles of their design in accordance with the norms of the modern Kazakh language, taking into account the initial lexical and grammatical features of terms formed on the basis of foreign-language units. The research material, hybrid terms were taken, which are actively used in the mass media, as well as in historical, cultural, socio-social, economic, political. In the course of the research, approaches to analysis, synthesis, interpretation, generalization and abstraction in relation to terms and approaches to theoretical explanation, description in order to disclose the basic concepts used were applied. А result of the work, the composition of hybrid terms in the language was analyzed and their percentage estimate was given.
