The study of the image of Agybai Batyr in Kazakh literary studies

The image of individual heroes in Kazakh literature is one of the topics that scientists do not pay much attention today. In particular, the image of Agybai Konyrbayuly, who under Kenesary Khan tirelessly fought against colonialism, was depicted in several genres of literature. In oral literature and prose, in historical songs and sagas, in poems, a number of works about the hero were born. The article focuses on the study and modern study of the image of Agybai Batyr in literary studies. Analyzing the materials and oral data about the hero stored in the archives, comparisons of his historical and artistic image are carried out. The scientific conclusions about the specifics of the personality of Agybai as a literary image are considered. In parallel, the image of Agybai in prose works, folklore and the image of Agybai in historical songs are studied. The ideological and aesthetic concepts conveyed through the image of the batyr in the novel “Kakhar” are revealed.
