Principles of the distribution of Kazakh letters in the Kazakh national keyboard

Abstract

The article considers the arrangement of keyboard letters in European and Turkic languages using Latin graphics. Analytical analysis is made on the variants of national keyboards in the new Latin alphabet of the Kazakh language. The criteria for the distribution of letters of Latin keyboards of world languages are determined. Recommendations on the principles for the creation of Kazakh national Latin keyboards are also proposed. The article raises the question of determining the scientific and practical foundations for the effective
placement of letters on the Kazakh keyboard based on the new national graphics. To quickly and efficiently type texts on the Kazakh keyboard, it is paramount to identify the frequency of letters and the effective placement of Kazakh letters on the keyboard using this frequency principle. After such scientific and theoretical studies, on the eve of the introducing the new Latin alphabet, the proposed projects of national keyboards will be analyzed and an experiment will be conducted on each of them.
