The role of an artistic detail in the script of the film «Traces go beyond the horizon»

Abstract

The article considers the dramatic activity of the rope one of the most important artistic details of the film «Traces go beyond the horizon» (director: Mazhit Begalin) and the literary script (author: Akim Tarazi) released in 1964. Based on archival documents the author analyzed the episodes related to the rope in all versions of the literary script («I see the venus star», «Zhazira», «Tulpar»), as well as the director's script and film. In addition, excerpts from discussions of film «Traces go beyond the horizon» held at the script department of the Kazakhfilm film studio are presented in this article. The article proves the influence of а rope as an artistic detail on the development of the story of the script and the film, a deeper disclosure of the image of the characters a sense of their inner psychological state. At the same time, the dramatic function of a rope as a plot, psychological and content detail in the literary script and film is determined.
