Sentimentalism in M. Auezov's poetics

Abstract

The article deals with the poetics of sentimentalism, which in the period of formation of the Kazakh prose is  manifested in the world literature, which has become one of the major trends in literature, scientifically  substantiates their typological characteristics. Ideological and aesthetic features of sentimentalism in  M. Auezov's poetics are presented. The main methods of sentimentalism are determined by the example of  the writer's novels. The author theoretically analyzes the conventional plots, images, and properties of the  contrasting landscape typical for the sentimentalists ' style.Phenomenon of moods formed on the background  of rational cognition and synthetic feelings, with the help such feelings as joy and sadness gradually replacing  each other shows feature of worldview writer. Also shows that the writer-sentimentalist sometimes touches  on such topics as the description of the sad fate of people, depression, a dark past and loss of hope for the  future. M. Auezov analyzed in detail the way to the lyrical prose of the Kazakh prose through the first place  «sensuality.
