Poetic function of myth in modern Kazakh prose

Abstract

The article comprehensively analyzed mythopoetic quest in modern Kazakh prose. There were systematized  views on the relationship of myth and written literature, the relationship of mythopoetics and expression,  mythopoetics and world outlook. The role of mythical motives, occupied in the system of worldview foundations and artistic thinking of modern Kazakh masters of the pen was clarified. The methods of using ancient  myths in the system of modern poetics are specified. From the scientific point of view the connections of mythology with realism and romanticism are analyzed as well. The ideological and aesthetic characteristics of  neo-mythology’s, which emerged in the world literature and is now turning into a thorough course, its typological facets are shown.
